somewhat predictable rate? Couldn't Tesla determine how much juice is needed to keep the car from bricking for a longer period, then program the car shut off, including all parasitic drain, when the juice gets that low? (I called it hibernation mode, maybe that's not a good term.) With an auxilary pack, it would need to be built in, and programmed to take over when the main battery got low enough. That's the same process, except with a second battery. ....... If this isn't possible, I still don't believe there is no way to fix this problem. What is Chevy doing?
